What programs do you offer?

We offer 4 separate camps: Senior Academics, Junior Academics, Tennis Camps and Golf Camps at the University of Virginia as well as a QuickStart 10 and Under Tennis Day Camp at St. Anne's-Belfield School.

What are your camp fees and dates for the upcoming season?

What is included with the Linen Package?

A box fan, sheets, towels and a pillow.

What is your cancellation policy?

All cancellations must be received in writing and are, without exception, subject to the following guidelines:

  • Until April 1, refund of tuition monies less 5% per week.
  • April 2 - June 1, refund of tuition monies less 10% per week.
  • After June 1, no refunds will be issued unless Tuition Insurance has been purchased.
  • No refunds will be issued to those expelled from camp.

10 & Under Tennis Day Camp Cancellation Policy:

  • All cancellations must be received in writing.
  • Cancellations received up until 5 p.m. the Friday prior to your session beginning may receive either a credit towards another camp or a refund of tuition monies less $25.

What is the Tuition Insurance?

May be purchased prior to June 1 for 5% of your total camp fees.  Insurance permits you to cancel after June 1 up to 5 pm the Friday prior to the start of your camp stay and still receive a refund of tuition monies less $500. Tuition insurance will not cover the following:

  • The non-refundable application fee.
  • SAT Prep, TOEFL Prep and ESL which become non-refundable after June 1.
  • Those expelled due to breach of camp rules.

Do I need Traveler's Insurance as an international student?

We recommend that all international students to our camps purchase traveler's insurance to cover any illness or injury while at camp. We do not have specific companies that we work with but can give you a couple of links to sites outside of our website to help you with your research: www.ivisitorinsurance.com and www.sevencorners.com

How do I apply to camp?

The completed and signed camp application form must be received with payment in order for the application process to be begin.

  • You may fax your application with Discover, MasterCard or Visa information to 703-866-7775, or
  • You may mail your application with your personal check to: Registrar - 4 Star Camps, P.O. Box 523658, Springfield, VA 22152

What forms of payment do you accept?

You may pay by check or money order payable to 4 Star Camps, by credit card (Discover, MasterCard or VISA only) or by wire transfer (please contact our registrar for instructions).

How does your payment schedule work?

  • Applications received before May 1, require:
    • Boarding Academic students - $500 deposit (which includes the application fee) with balance due on May 15.
    • Boarding Tennis or Golf students - $200 deposit (which includes the application fee) with balance due on May 15.
    • Day Academic students - $200 deposit (which includes the application fee) with balance due on May 15.
    • Day Tennis or Golf students - $100 deposit (which includes the application fee) with balance due on May 15.
  • Applications received after May 1, require full payment including a non-refundable application fee plus full tuition and all optional fees.
  • QuickStart 10 and Under Tennis Day Camp - full payment is due with application.

Will I receive a confirmation after applying?

Yes, you will receive by email a complete packet including your invoice, program confirmation and other forms/information.

What airports can I fly into?

We offer limited pickup and drop off to and from the Charlottesville-Albermarle Airport (CHO) during specific time periods for no extra charge (please discuss travel arrangements with our registrar before making your plans.)  Pickup and drop off to and from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) can be arranged for an extra charge of $150 each way.

What other means of travel are available?

Charlottesville is also serviced by Amtrak and Greyhound-Trailways. We do offer a limited service to these stations during a specific time period for no extra charge (please discuss travel arrangements with our registrar before making your plans).
