Directions to University of Virginia
From Northern Virginia I-66
Take I-66 from Northern Virginia past Manassas. Take the exit marked "Route 29 South - Gainesville". Proceed south to Charlottesville on Route 29. In Charlottesville Route 29 turns into Emmet Street. Turn right at Massie Road. Go to the next stop light and turn left onto Copely Road. Stay on Copeley (name will change to Alderman Road) and go to second stop light and turn left onto McCormick Road. Dorms are up on your left. (McCormick Road Residences - Humphreys - Echols).
From I-64 East/West
Take exit 118-B (Culpeper - Charlottesville). Take second exit (sign will say University of Virginia Information Center and Business 250 East) and bear right onto Ivy Road. At second stop light, turn right onto Alderman Road. Go to next stop light and turn left onto McCormick Road. Dorms are up on your left. (McCormick Road Residences - Humphreys - Echols).
From I-81
Take I-64 East to Route 29 North (Culpeper - Charlottesville). Take second exit (sign will say University of Virginia Information Center and Business 250 East) and bear right onto Ivy Road. Directions to University of Mary Washington
Directions from I-95
The University of Mary Washington is located in Fredericksburg, Va, 50 miles south of Washington, D.C. and 50 miles north of Richmond, Va. To reach the campus from Interstate 95, take Exit 130-A. Follow Route 3 East business to the traffic light for William Street. Make a left at the light. Follow William Street to the next traffic light and make a left onto College Avenue. Proceed to the Main University gates. Our dorm is Jefferson Hall.
Directions from US 1
From Route 1 turn left (if you are headed south) or right (if you are headed north) onto College Avenue, which is directly across from the Park and Shop shopping center. Proceed to the second set of University gates, located at the next traffic light. Our dorm is Jefferson Hall.
