Arrival and Departure
Charlottesville Camps (University of Virginia)
Check-in
Campers should arrive between 3 pm - 4 pm on Sundays.
If arriving by bus, train, or plane, please schedule your arrival between 2- 6 pm. We will meet your child at the appropriate Charlottesville station during these times at no extra charge, otherwise we can refer you to a limo service. If you are flying into Washington DC airports please contact us for transportation arrangements and fees. Please return your Transportation Information form one week prior to check-in.
Day Campers should arrive Sunday at 4:00 pm for orientation, followed by dinner and an instructional or recreational segment from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
Check-out
Campers need to be picked up by 11 am on Friday.
If departing by bus, train, or plane, please schedule departure between 11 am - 2 pm. We will escort your child to the appropriate Charlottesville station during these times at no extra charge, otherwise we can refer you to a limo service. If you are departing from Washington DC airports please contact us for transportation arrangements and fees. Please return your Transportation Information form one week prior to check-in.
Day Campers check out Fridays at 11:00 am and those not checking out will participate in their regular afternoon instructional segment.
Fredericksburg Camps (University of Mary Washington)
Check-in
Campers should arrive between 3 pm - 4 pm on Sundays.
If arriving by bus or train, please schedule your arrival between 2 - 6 pm. We will meet your child at the Fredericksburg station during these times at no extra charge , otherwise we can refer you to a limo service. For those arriving by plane, we suggest you fly into Washington DC airports between 12 noon and 5 pm. We will arrange to pick up your child between these times at no extra charge, otherwise we can refer you to a limo service. Please return your Transportation Information form one week prior to check-in.

Early Arrivals/Late Departures
4 Star does not have the facilities to accommodate campers who arrive or leave the day before or after the designated dates of their camp.
Day Students
All programs are offered to students who live or will be staying off grounds. Camp runs Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:15 pm with breakfast and lunch included. Check-out is Friday at 11:00 am. Those not checking out will participate in their regular afternoon instructional segment. Day campers may participate in our evening events and weekend excursions on a space available basis.
