SAT / ACT Preparation

A camper participation in the SAT/ACT Preparation program

Specially designed for 4 Star Camps by The Princeton Review for rising 10-12th grade students.

This SAT/ACT Preparations program is a condensed course offered by The Princeton Review that includes classroom instruction in a participatory and personal environment. The preparation courses are successful in raising students' scores by creating an engrossing academic environment with highly motivated teachers.

The Princeton review's highly trained instructors explain concepts that will be tested on the exams, clarify scoring and teach proven test-taking techniques such as deciphering questions, eliminating misleading answer choices and saving time while taking the exam.

The course offers 3 practice exams. The exams are computer analyzed to pinpoint students' strengths and weaknesses. Additionally each student will receive a personalized score report including a breakdown of questions and answers, percentage increase in major test areas, indication of correct/incorrect guessing, and suggestions for increasing scores.

Resources and ongoing support are pivotal to student success. Materials to be taken home upon completion of the course are The Princeton Review's 11 Practice Tests for the SAT/ACT and the SAT or ACT Student Manual. Students will also receive access to an "online student center" - a password protected part of The Princeton Review's website. There students can continue practicing for the exam and gain test-taking tips.

Success on the exams is guaranteed. The Princeton Review invests millions of dollars studying the tests to design materials and train instructors to teach the test in the most effective way.

Students choosing this program will focus on SAT/ACT course work for the entire morning. They may take an afternoon writing class tailored specifically for the essay portion of the exams.
